San Giorgio a Lapi has been a winery since 1977.
It was born from the family passion to cultivate vineyards and produce wine and extra virgin olive oil in a unique territory between Chianti Classico and Colli Senesi.
You can also buy good extra virgin olive oil made from freshly harvested olives produced 2022.
On the one hand, Chianti Classico, with its poor, draining marl and alberese soils that force vines to dig deep,
 giving wines with an austere and vibrant profile, chiseled tannins and an unmistakable mineral soul.Â
On the other, the Colli Senesi, where the clays and sands give softness and roundness, offering more enveloping, sunny wines with a more generous fruity streak.
San Giorgio a Lapi was born in this perfect balance, where the tension of Chianti Classico meets the harmony of the Colli Senesi.
It is here that each vine finds its voice, that each bottle tells a unique, unrepeatable territory, capable of blending structure and finesse, character and drinkability.
